I thought it was interesting. I have yet to see The Americans so I can't compare the two.

NBC has cancelled Allegiance after just 5 episodes! They will replace it with episodes of The Slap!

They are replacing it with The Slap and yet Allegiance is the for superior show!

It's not really being replaced by The Slap because it too will not get renewed after it's 8 episodes air.
