Allen West: “Bin Laden Being Dead is Not Foreign Policy”

This clip is a few days old but worth watching in its entirety. Appearing on “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren Thursday night, Congressman Allen West (R-FL) explained why “it’s insane” for the Obama administration to base their entire foreign policy on the death of Osama bin Laden. What was I supposed to take away from that?

West is acting as if the Obama Administration has absolutely no foreign policy/military initiatives in the Middle East. Yet, this Administration has been incredibly active in Yemen and Libya, over the past four years. West is trying to make it sound as if this Administration just kicked their feet up and ended the all aggressive military action in any part of the world after OBL was killed. Again, that is patently untrue.

This Administration can certainly be criticized for making poor strategic decisions; however, to say that this Administration is not making strategic decisions is simply a falsehood.

I also enjoyed how West in his attempt to take a shot at Obama said that he is surrounded by people who are "just going to tell the Emperor he has no clothes". Umm...maybe West should re-read that fable.

This administration has made the most stupid mideast policy decisions since the founding of this nation.

This administration has not done so due to ignorance or ineptness, it has done so due to it's own treason to the American people.
