Nothing this year. We bought presents that require no assembly. But I did take my boys in the woodshop over the past few weeks and we made momma her present this year. So we did some assembly.

A friend of mine that just got married and has a new stepson asked me if putting together a wooden play set was a one man job. Asked me how long it would take. This was yesterday. I informed him he needed to call in some help, buy some beer, and charge up the drill batteries for the drill when the screw holes don't match up. He's a newbie at this dad stuff.

Good, maybe you can teach me to play Barbies. Mine keep shooting things, head-banging, and doing wheelies. Layla says I'm not playing right.

That's how my girls played with their barbies, they also jumped out of planes and slung howitzer under helicopters. Go figure

I can assure him with 100% certainty it is a job worth paying some professionals to do.
