Sorry if these guys already have a thread, I searched but found nothing.

Apparently Reaves is not hesitating going after USC commits and prospects.

He has arranged an official visit from USC top WR commit Alshon Jeffrey. He is a 4 star rated 6th best in nation. AJ is set to visit UT Jan 23-35 per rivals.

Alshon Jeffrey - Football Recruiting

Reaves is also recruiting Quienton Washington, 4 Star OG. Reaves was recruiting him at USC.

Quinton Washington - Football Recruiting

No confirmation to the Gilmore/Holloman rumors or whether or not they are interested. Regardless, Reaves is burning bridges in SCAR.

I hope we can get them all too but to me the key thing is that he puts up that fence around TN. We have the best class to ever come out of the state next year and we need to land all of them if we can! 2010

Alshon Jeffrey looks really good on film. He looks like an elite receiver to me. We have plenty of good receivers on the team, but with Marlon Brown, Stokes, Jeffery, Paige, G. Jones. There would be no shortage of high quality receivers on the team. Then you still have EJ as a red zone threat also. We could be WR U again

So you put these two before D.Moore?:banghead2:

D.Moore is a good receiver I was just talking about elite potential. He doesnt seem to have the first or second round draft guy ability. Trust me he is good though. Should have got more PT than Austin Rogers.

Not sure what kind of impact Paige will have in Kiffin's new offense. Remember, Lane mentioned his offense will be one thing, physical, and I think Paige will be lacking in that department.

Look for Moore to be our deep threat in Kiffin's offense, JMO.

Alshon isnt going to UT and neither is Washington.

just face the facts, we will take over SC now. your getting bitter about it and are going through denial. so if possible i recommend a psychologist within the next possible weeks so you wont ruin xmas for you and yours. god bless.

Ahh yes... stage 1 (Shock/Denial) of the 7 stages of Grief

You will probably react to learning of the loss with numbed disbelief. You may deny the reality of the loss at some level, in order to avoid the pain. Shock provides emotional protection from being overwhelmed all at once. This may last for weeks.

7 STAGES OF GRIEF

Man... stage 7 Acceptance and Hope are a long ways away

I personally am concerned with Brown's apparent lack of speed. I'd rather see UT sway Teague.

Of the young WR's, I think Moore has shown the most potential for being a dangerous homerun threat.

Marlon Brown was overrated and got a dose of reality out at the USC summer camp. Both Shaq Evans and Alshon Jeffreys showed him up. MB looks like he has gotten better but AJ would be a better score IMO. MB has the physical ability, but needs to be taught how to go up for the ball and run routes. Still hope he is orange though.

Jeffrey..

"I am going to go to Tennessee January 23rd for a visit to a get a feel for what it is like up there," Jeffrey said. "I don't really know a lot about them. I know Peyton Manning played there and DeAngelo Willingham was a cornerback there. DeAngelo went to my high school."
"Coach Reaves said it was a nice place and they had nice facilities," Jeffrey said. "He also said that they will have an offense that will be fun to be a part of."

"I am firm to Southern Cal, but anything can happen," Jeffrey said. "I am going to take a couple of visits to be sure."

When asked if the apparent departure of offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian to Washington had any effect on his standing with the Trojans, Jeffrey reiterated that things are not settled.

"Like I said, anything can happen," Jeffrey said. "There is a lot of stuff going on out there and anything can happen."
