We are witnesses to the largest theft in modern history. The Democrats can't give away taxpayer dollars fast enough. They are now working to enact automatic direct monthly cash payments to individuals as long as certain economic indicators exist. They will later come back and eliminate those economic indicators, and they will have implemented their long planned universal income scheme. They are moving this country toward full blown socialism at an alarming rate. Since they are flat-out purchasing votes, I don't see this movement ending. The U.S. economy will be heavily charred toast.

Who here feels confident in saying that 2021 Dems will outspend our Republican Senate and POTUS from last year?

Dude, the right has lost it's ability to lecture anyone on spending.

Move along.

Nice try at a "gotcha" question.
Meh, I say let him have it. He is right.

I also think that the Dems will out do what we did last year. I mean at this point, we aren't going to pay back this debt anyways, may as well just blow this baby up to ridiculous levels. Throw some student loans forgiveness and reparations on the hopper while we are at it.

Seemed like a pretty innocuous question, year over year spending shouldn't be a "gotcha" for the outrage the OP was exhibiting.

Why leave out the last year Dems in the House - afterall, spending bills originate there.

The more appropriate question will the Feds spend more this year than last.

I'm certain this year's version will try to spend more but I'm not sure they'll be successful

You gonna be calling out your boy now though?

I don't think Biden ran on a platform of reigning in government spending like Donny did. That said, I've always criticized excessive spending and championed fiscal responsibility. However, I'm not necessarily convinced that the covid relief spending isn't necessary and or warranted given the disaster the shutdowns have caused.
