I was just as surprised ND has had 7. I've got a Ugaly and a Scjr fan on facebook saying "go conference go bama".

Joe Namath, Bart Starr.....and on defense Derrick Thomas (lb) had 27 sacks in one season. Thats off the top of my head. Im not an Alabama troll, but they have some of the greatest players in the history of the game and you have to respect that.

Not at all but they should change the name to most popular player or the player espn hyped the most. There's no way a red shirt freshman is the best player in college football. An outstanding player yes, the best no and Manti Te'o should never have been in the mix.

Im not looking to argue over it. Its a feather in the teams cap and you should be proud of JM. Would I like to see UT have a heisman winner, of course I would but if they really wanted to crown the best player in college football IMO that's Jadeveon Clowney.
