Thought I’d post in case anyone was interested. There is an amateur golf tour in East TN called the amateur players tour. It looks like they play anywhere from Knoxville to Chattanooga. (Smoky Mtn Chapter). They also have National majors at courses all over the US and their end of the year championship is at Pinehurst. It is flighted stroke play events so it is for any skill level. I played in one this past weekend and had a blast.
