Wow. The compartmentalization of studios to streaming services continues. Disney has 20th Century Fox. HBO is now going to have Warner Bros. Amazon now has MGM. And of course Paramount has their own streaming service with Paramount Plus.

Amazon isn't getting everything on that list. MGM’s library from 1986 and earlier already belongs to WarnerMedia.

Actually you got it backwards HBO is owned by Warner Bros.

When they started their streaming service for whatever reason they went with HBO Max instead of something with the WB name. If I remember correctly it angered a lot of traditional movie buffs that they went with the HBO Branding considering the storied history & tradition that Warner Bros. has.

HBO Max is incredibly confusing. It took me a while to realize there is HBO streaming and HBO Max streaming. I was looking around for the JL movie for a while trying to figure out when it was supposed to drop.
