Gosh....MORE Herbie? More pithy comments and observations, from an Ohio State-Centric point of view? More negativity about all things Tennessee??

That sounds just GREAT!!! Maybe we can hear even MORE about how we missed the Schiano-Train to Greatness??

Yeah, I learned that too, as a result of this thread.

He's the best there is, no wonder they started there. I think we don't really need a thread every time somebody wants him to call a game. I assume that people on this board don't like him (boo hoo) partly because he's so incredibly good at his job. Then he gets rent free head occupancy from a bunch of whiners.

Have viewed Herbstreits college games for years and nary have I heard him as an OSU homer..... He is a very impartial announcer and if anything I have heard him "brag" more about the SEC. Heck, I never knew that he was an OSU QB in the 1990's until recently. His (2) sons started their football careers at Clemson.

Herbstreit got chased out of Columbus because he wasn’t considered pro OSU enough by the local populous. He was always very complimentary of UT until we became mediocre.
