ambles vs rogers

If I had to choose between them, I'd probably say Ambles since he was committed to UT for so long and already built relationships with a lot of this class.

I know he started looking around more after the UA game, but he's a young man that wants to find the best fit for him, and we need to respect that. I hate when we start trashing players once they decommit or go soft.

I think in our situation where we are in need of prospects who can make an impact coming in then I would perfer Ambles...... but Roger may be the better in the long run, because he seems to want to be here more that ambles. IMO

Agreed. It's easy to forget that these are 17 and 18 year old kids. The world suddenly gets A LOT bigger during the recruitment process.

And my take.. Rogers. Even though I think Ambles will be an exceptional player, I think a physical receiver with good speed opens up an offense for a lot of different looks.

i'm more attached to Ambles because he's been one of ours for most of the past year. i think he'll end up back our way, but if not i'll get over it. getting Rogers from UGA would be huge and would def help ease my mind if Ambles goes elsewhere.

Ambles seemed so "into" UT before Kiffin & co. left. I find it difficult that a kid could be so into a school then lose interest when the coach leaves. He just seemed to really like the university or at least it appeared that way. Really disappointed he is not coming here.

Ambles looked incredible during the AA game other than the one drop. Reports were that he was torching Elam and Allen in practice during the week too.

Although both are very talented and I would take either one of them but I would say I would rather have Ambles...not sure why just have that feeling.

Ambles... I know Rogers, he "dates" a friend of mine's sister, and he's barely gonna be academically eligible if at all. And if he pulls that off, he's not very bright, so expect constant problems.
