Love the history channel. Wife wanted to watch Real TV. I said its on in the Rec room. She went to bed.

Absolutely fantastic, even though it's really simplified for a general audience - which is not surprising.

pretty good stuff. i caught the second airing but apparantly they're not showing the second part like they did earlier.....so hopefully i can catch the rest of it eventually.

Was disappointed. Too simplified for my taste. How can you go throught the entire Rev. War without mentioning Benedict Arnold or Cornwallis?

They did a nice job on Morgan, though.

Also, I couldn't care less what those pseudo-historians who appear in those little snippets say.

I felt the same way. Celebrities telling me how George Washington felt during the Revolutionary War? Give me a freaking break.

I watched it last night and I'm pretty much underwhelmed.......didn't even point out that Davy Crockett was from Tennessee.

Guys, I will admit the series has been a little disappointing. But the one from last Sunday called "Metropolis" was great. The story of how the steel industry got started, the oil boom, the Statue of Liberty. It was amazing!

It replays one day during the week. Not sure which day though. If you find it be sure to dvr the one titled "Metropolis". It's the best one so far.
