The point of the article was "IF" the animal had been put down after the first time it killed, two people would not have lost their life. Pointing out that the people of the Old Testament would have stoned the animal is just an object lesson. The article also makes the case for the family to take Seaworld to court over this.
Seaworld is putting profits ahead of human life.....period.
The OP is just trying to take any opportunity to bash Christians as he does in other threads.

Fair enough.

The religous bickering and hate has really turned me off on this forum. It used to be spirited and fun while also being hateful :).

The efforts of zealots on all sides of the religous spectrum have turned into something akin to the mess underneath the outhouse floor.

One thing I cannot understand about this situation. Why in the world would you continue to use an animal that has killed someone. They admitted he had aggressive tendencies and they knew he had killed someone, so why keep working with him. Just ridiculous.

I think that's a shame. You can argue with someone and be civil. You can disagree with someone's world view without hating them. Jesus said to love even your enemies and so that's what I try to do. It's good to respect people's opinion, even if you don't agree with it. OK, there's your sermon, I'll be passing the offering plate around in a minute. :)
