America's Got Talent (Season 5)

Anyone a follower? I started watching the auditions for it this past summer and have since been keeping up with it. Second half of the semi-finals start next Tuesday.

I catch it sporadically. I loved watching Howie freak out over the string with the life saver. :lol:

I think I watched the auditions once and gave up on it because it was a total copy of "Britain's Got Talent" clips I've seen on YouTube. I kid you not in the episode I watched there was a large guy with a sob story who sang "Con Te Partiro". That was totally done by Paul Potts on BGT at least a year before. Same song and judge reaction. Shortly after him was a small child who sang something I can't quite remember, but once again, it was just like BGT. As a matter of fact, Paul Potts and the little girl were finalists. So I guess "America's Got Talent based on what they have seen on Britain's Got Talent". Now I've watched neither BGT or AGT in quite some time, so I'm not sure what either is like now.
