What would you guys think about making our own “Coaches Poll” as opposed to the “Coach’s Poll”?
A weekly or monthly polling of the top 25 coaches in college football by Vol Nation or SEC fans would be unique and possibly useful. This would also prove challenging to organize, so I look to more experienced minds to take this one and run with it.
I don’t believe I’ve seen such a ranking before. My idea is that each participant opts in to create a top 25 list every week or every month and someone who is savvy with excel or better yet has website experience (@Freak ?) could compile and publish.
My hope in doing so would be that if this were to gain popularity, we could reach out to other message boards and include their staff or a certain number of members - it sounds like something that could really grow. This could also serve as a tool to help fans better understand college football as well.
