On the banks of the river,
A fortress rises in the night sky,
An eerie calm welcomes the battle,
As soldiers rise to arms, the foe quivers.

They come from the night,
Unending in numbers they appear,
Their voices sound with terror,
As to the warriors they give cheer.

Face to face they stand in the field,
Fire glowing in their eyes,
They breathe heartily upon the meek,
Enblazened with strength, no mercy'd they yield.

Sounds of battle rang through the night,
Rolling like thunder with each blow thus struck,
Deep into the dark thus did they struggle,
Vengence then wrath on the weak was their plight.

As the dust settled slowly,
The victor in sight,
Standing lone in the midst,
Shone the armor Orange and White.

The crowd erupted in song, the enemy did shiver,
They sang to the hills, their voices did raise,
To their victors, Old Rocky Top they'd praise,
And it happened here, on the banks of the river.
