Who is a few teams you'd like to see UT trade a few home and away's with?

Duke (Going to Cameron Indoor and having Coach K at TBA would be nice)

UCLA. - Pauley Pavilion aint that attractive this year but it would be nice in years to come. Keating could have stayed a bit longer I guess.

and maybe an East Lansing trip to see Izzo and Bruce face off.

Yeah. Seriously. The closes we'd get is an away at Durham and a neutral at probably Greensboro. Coack K needs to grow a pair. I bet Ol' Roy would come though.

I am sorry for asking this, but alas I am ignorant on this subject. Do basketball programs earn the large contracts for playing out of conference opponents like football programs do?

Not as big as in football, but the Prairie Views and Arkansas-Pine Bluffs of the world do get nice checks for playing, and getting hammered by, the Kentuckys and UCONNs of the world.

To the OP, I'd love if they played UNC, Syracuse and Michigan State. UNLV would also be nifty.

I'm fine with UCLA as long as they bring their dance squad with them.

Duke will not come to Tennessee because they don't recruit players from Eastern Tennessee and rarely recruit players from Central or Western Tennessee. Brandon Wright and Eliott Williams would be exceptions. Duke primarily recruits heavily in Washington DC, Virginia suburbs, New England area and the Chicago area. If there is one school we should play against in North Carolina it would be NC State because our program is currently a little bit better than theirs and we recruit the same players year after year (Luke Cothron, Major Wingate, JJ Hickson).

I think we should try to schedule Georgia Tech because we are doing extremely well in the Atlanta area in recruiting. Also, we should play UCONN, St. John's or other teams in the New York or Boston area because Pearl seems to have connections in the Northeast and I would think recruits from Boston and New York would like his aggressive style of play and attitude.
