Yes, Arch may be taking over the QB job at Texas. Yes, he is awesome. Yes, we love him by extension, since he is the nephew of the GOAT Peyton.

I hope arch goes to the NFL and does great. However for now I hope Texas loses every game. Nico is our guy and the rest are last place.

Why would we love Arch Manning? What does Arch Manning matter to us? That makes no sense to me at all. It's not as if the Mannings are some kind of unifying dynasty across sports. The kid plays for Texas. Super. Has nothing to do with us.

And also, not with this "new GOAT" stuff. Peyton played here for four years and chose to stay for his senior season back when these guys weren't getting paid millions. Never lost to Alabama. Has repped Tennessee like a champion for the last twenty five years. Comes back to Knoxville quite a bit. It feels overly emotional and kneejerk to declare a guy who's played four games the GOAT over Peyton's Volunteer legacy. I'm glad Iamaleava is here, but just, man. That's too much in my book.
