Texas just announced Herman is returning.

The Urban mania is rivaling that of Jon Gruden.

I think this had less to do with him “being done coaching” then he just doesn’t want to coach at Texas. His comments on Cowherds show they other day certainly leave the door open for his return.

While that could be the case, I think the guy is toast in wanting to come back and coach. Outside of some school making him the highest paid coach with a 10 million minimum salary, I don’t know what blue blood school out there would pony up and hire him. He also has aged greatly in last couple years.

Pretty much: “Tom Herman is staying as head coach because urban Meyer said no” wonder how Herman feels about that

Texas likely offered him somewhere close to 10 million. Texas has HUGE pockets. This just goes to show that hiring a HC is not just about money.
