@JimmyHyams: Todd Raleigh still hasn't accepted a buyout from Tennessee. Raleigh cites interference with doing his job.

Could Todd Raleigh do any more to confirm every opinion I had about him from day 1?!?!?

Pardon me, but last week was he not complaining that Mike Hamilton was not talking to him enough?:banghead2:

We gave this Ass Clam almost $300,000 per year and facility upgrades and he claims we interfered with him?!?!?

I suppose his allegation is that he was forced to hire assistants he did not like. Judging from the assistants he did hire, it appears he needed some help in this field!

Now I am stewing!

Give him $750,000 and make sure one of the $50k blocks of cash comes from Hamilton. All of the coaching changes have been (handled) ridiculous.

Which could have been avoided had Hamilton actually done a little research.

He's trying to cite the lack of cages and other upgrades he was promised would be in place within a year or two of being hired, despite the fact that he had his worst season when everything was finally in place.

It's posturing. I don't blame him, I'd try to milk a former employer for all they're worth too.

Unless you ever have the intention of trying to get a job in the same field again. If you take it too far and make to many accusations, schools tend to avoid you like the plague. Nolan Richardson springs to mind.

What Todd Effin Raleigh is *****ing about is beyond trivial compared to Nolan's beef.

This is all just posturing on Retodd's behalf. He knows that he will never get a job at a big time program ever again after his reign of terror was mercifully brought to an end (merciful for those of us who love UT baseball). He's trying to milk Hamilton for every buck he can get (he knows Hamilton is stupid enough to pay him) because he knows he'll be relegated to small time baseball if he does ever get a head coaching gig again, not just for the losing, but the pathetic human being he proved to be. I still think this whole situation is stupid to begin with, you fire a guy because he sucks and then have to pay him to go away, so absurd it isn't funny.

For those reasonable persons amongst us who seek MH's ouster - and sooner, rather than later - this is a most-welcomed development.

Having one of your worst / most embarassing coaching decisions now refusing to go quietly - and essentially trying to blackmail the UTAD, if other posts are true - will only intensify the already laser-focused spotlight on Hammy's pervasive ineptitude.

For those who want MH gone......pray that he chooses to draw a hard line here, with this coach, where he has rolled over previously with all of the others. It has nothing to do with the correctness of Raleigh's claim, whatsoever, but the spectacle that it could produce may finally prove to be his undoing.

Too bad that he can't just be reassigned in the Athletic Department cutting grass and raking leaves for the remainder of his contract term.

The guy seems to be oblivious to what a truly terrible job that he did as baseball coach. His teams started slow and finished even slower.

Such a job would be far too good for him. He tarnishes the UT name by even residing in this state.

Raleigh isn't coaching anywhere but Little League ball after this anyways.
