All the ingredients are there for something special, especially the veteran presence.Good to see Vescovi on the list.
I remember when we played Boogie Ellis last year and he went for 21 against us. Coincidentally, I think Vescovi really struggled that game. Anyway, I'm excited for basketball season.
He's the leading returning shooter in terms of made 3s (91, last year). He was 3rd in the SEC, last year. It isn't that much of a stretch based on what is known about the returning players, and unknown about the newcomers.Santi is the best shooter in the SEC? No slight meant for Santi it is just hard for me to believe he is considered the best shooter in the SEC
I think it’s also worth mentioning that hopefully/ideally better PG play and more scorers around him will benefit him. His % dipped last year from junior season mostly as a result imo to his looks becoming more contested/drawing more attention, hopefully with the addition of more scorers he’s back to his junior year form of 40%+ on over 7 attempts a game. Obviously hard to take much from of anything from Europe trip, but he was 56% from 3 on 6 attempts a game from deep. He's the leading returning shooter in terms of made 3s (91, last year). Mashack , Jefferson and JP. Who is Robinson ?Didn't want to make another thread for this, but I expect the
starting lineup to be something like this:
1 ZZ
2 Vescovi
3 Knecht
4 JJJ
5 Aidoo
2nd
Dilione
Carr
Gainey
Robinson
Awaka
Am I leaving something out? We have strongest lineup (IMO) overall since Barnes has been here.
Don’t forget his shoulder was banged up a big part of the season.I think it’s also worth mentioning that hopefully/ideally better PG play and more scorers around him will benefit him. nope hes a redshirt senior 5th year.Seems like Monsanto, Wake Forest played for ETSU about 6 years ago before Forbes went to Wake. This has got to be his 6th or 7th year. I may be wrong.....
