Good for him, i guess, coming forward and admitting the HGH deal. Indirectly, though, Clemens is under the bus, as a result of Andy coming clean

I believe Pettite, that he only used it a couple times. Clemens on the other hand looks like he abused it.

I used a HGH supplement drink one time back in my freshman year of college. I knew at least 9-10 guys through my college career that used steroids. It wasn't that big of deal.

I did use creatine all the time though. We're talking small time college baseball here, the guys I knew broke the bank to buy that stuff. These major leaguers had all the money, technology, etc at their disposal and like it was with me it was just known that some people did it and never really mattered, it was accepted.

To say what they have been saying on ESPN all week it was culture and it will still go on in some colleges because the lack of funds to give a whole athletic teams the ability to do drug tests.

Anybody who's been watching major league baseball for the last ten years and claims not to know that Clemens was juicing hasn't been paying attention.

I was surprised by Pettitte, just because he's never been much better than a league average pitcher.

That's a fact. I don't think it's any coincidence that his career got its second wind after he was a teammate of Jose Canseco.

my bet is 80% of all mlb players are on some kind of performance enhancing drugs.

was he playing for the Blue Jays in 98?

supposedly, from what i've read and heard, in 1998 he was 4-4. he then began the juice and went finished the season 14-0.

No way that many guys are getting away with taking roids. The testing has become rampid. HGH on the other hand I will agree with. Because it's untestable I believe there are tons using it.

i meant that they are taking either or both hgh and roids and probably 10 things we've never heard of (yet). should have been more specific.

Who knows if Pettite came clean???? He could just be admitting a partial truth (or Partial lie) to take the heat off. Happens all the time. Look at Vick. He lied a little each time until people were going to testify against him then he came clean. We will never know the entire truth about steroids in MLB.
