In case you missed it, Ann Romney's charter flight from LA had smoke fill the passenger cabin and electricity go out, forcing an emergency landing at Denver airport.

When it landed, passengers ushered quickly off by firemen.

Unionized firemen. At a government owned airport. Built with redistributed tax dollars. Saved Ann Romney's life.

And if government hadn’t been there, there’s no way there would have been free market solutions. Right...

Government protects rich white ladies...in other news, government continues to kill innocent foreigners with drone bombs.

All leaving little doubt that a right wing terrorist caused the plane trouble...

Thank God nobody was hurt. That would put a damper on LG's ridiculous points in the OP.

LG you're slacking this happened and was reported 5 days ago. Guess it took you that long to figure out a way to try and spin it negatively against Romney.

I would say that pilot probably helped, you know, a private commercial pilot, maybe even part of a small business.

Oh yes, how would they have ever figured out how to walk down steps without firemen. Close call. Thanks God for expertly trained union labor.

Interesting dodges. Errrrr, I mean replies.

I though it was nice to see you comment that you are glad the people who were in the plane are well and healthy after a possible tragedy.

Oh wait, no you didn't.

Meh, goes without saying.

I like her, by the way. 10x his personality.

Yup.

Likely trained for free by the USAF.

With yours and my tax dollars.

1. Defense is a proper and constitutional use f tax dollars.
2. Military training only appears free to those who have never done it.*

True.

Lucky as we'll she had two Secret Service guys with her.

Paid for entirely by you and me.

What's the point of all this?

I drove to work this morning on road paid for by taxes.

I got my mail today delivered by the federal government.

I'm sure I could think of a few more if I cared enough. But what exactly are you getting at?

What is the dividing line between a valid redistribution of wealth for societal good and an invalid one ?

Redistribution of tax dollars. In this case, FROM the most modest of us, TO benefit the wealthiest.

You mean to protect the wife of the Presidential candidate the same way they protected Obamas oldest daughter when she traveled to Mexico.

That's a hard question. I could argue that Constitutionally, with the exception of the military, none of the above items are valid redistribution.

Wait, did Romney's taxes pay for something else? Is there someway I can direct mine toward only the things I support? Also, what percentage of revenue comes from the most modest?

That;s how redistribution often works. Obama's bailouts ring a bell? Hell, that's what Medicare and Social Security do. Poor people die, and don't end up collecting a lot of their owed benefits. The rich keep on living, on the government teet.
