Is there a particular format for these recruits to announce their choices in San Antonio, or will they just do their own thing whenever and wherever? Anybody know?

I think it's just a whenever wherever type of thing. This will be one of the biggest announcing days with signing day being the other.

I was wondering the same thing. Will they have sideline reporters everywhere so the kids can randomly commit? Should be a lot of fun.

Cant wait till tommorow. Looks like both of our teams could load up again this year.

P.S it amazes me how well that UT and CPF recruits nationally every year. I cant wait till UGA and CMR can get to that level while we recently have started having some success but apparently its a long road.

Not sure what the system is but UT has always had a long reach. I remeber that Johnny Majors had a team at one time that had players from about 40 different states!

Clearly, over the years, they've built a system for scouting and communicating with prospects outside the state.

More curious to me is that Tennessee doesn't produce more players (is that changing) as the population of the state grows. We don't have the population of Georgia or Florida but smaller states (e.g. Alabama and Mississippi) seem to produce more players per capita than Tenn. Maybe I'm wrong on this.

I think we have 2 things going for us that you'll have to wait a while to attain.

I think the #1 thing that makes us so attractive to so many nationally is the style of our game. It so reflects the many pro styles played.

I think the 2nd, and the thing that take time, is the continuity of the coaching staff.

Coaches can go into a kids home and practically guarantee that CPF will be there until they leave.

That is a huge factor for parents too.

Good luck tomorrow. :)

That is a great observation. The stability in the coaches reflects the stability of the program.

I think we are consistent all the way around and that is very attractive.

Maybe 110,000 screaming fans help just a little bit. :dunno:
