the slap a vehicle twice ,why 2 times ? and can the driver of an ambulance or what ever even hear it ?

jacking a shell into to a shotgun, after the first one shouldn't one come out ?

the never ending shots, out of a revolver, they call em 6 shooters for a reason

and why can't the bad guys ever hit the good guys with an Uzi ? that is what, like 600 to a 1k rounds per minute ? even allowing for being a bad shot, shouldn't somebody get hit ?

and lets not forget the car that want start,I've had quiet a few of those, but really ? it was running fine in the last scene

or the light bulb that just went out ?

tell me more please :) what is your pet peeve in a show ?

Being a person with any firearm knowledge makes for tough sledding if you can't let things go. One of the most common :jpshakehead: out there, which I saw just the other day in fact, is when autos that don't have the capability to do so are repeatedly "dry fired" after running empty. (nevermind that they should have been locked open anyway at that point) If you're really lucky and paying attention you can sometimes hear the sound of cases hitting the ground...from a revolver.

My favorite ever was when (I am NOT making this up) I saw a pistol fired and an unfired rifle cartridge was shown in slow motion spinning towards the target.

When police show up, it's always about 6 police cars all with lights and sirens blaring, and they immediately pull up, draw their guns, and shout "GET DOWN!"....even if it's one old man just standing there doing nothing. And of course immediately reading them their rights.

The same cops also are completely oblivious to the bad guy walking down the street; but if it's the hero who's wanting walking down the street, the first cop who sees them suddenly recognizes him and chases him.

People are bullseye marksmen until they have to shoot at the main good or bad guys, then they can't hit a thing (I'm looking at you Walking Dead).

Pretty much the vast majority of programming/hacking/computer junk shown on shows and movies is complete crap.

Shows that are set in a large northern-ish city that have the characters travel to anywhere in the South and the South is shown to be nothing but dirt roads, clapboard shacks, pickup trucks and toothless rednecks who abuse their wives and daughters. (NCIS is particularly bad about this)

In later seasons of "Fringe", the main characters drove Nissan Leafs. A Leaf has an effective range of about 75 miles, yet they routinely drove from Baltimore to Philly to Boston as if their cars had gasoline engines and no range anxiety.

Very, very few truck drivers wear plaid shirts. Very few wear cowboy hats. 90% of big trucks on the road are governed between 65 and 70 mph and less than 1% of the rest are capable of chasing down a fleeing 4-wheeler (that's our term for a passenger car or truck) that is determined to get away.

That reminds me, shows in cities like Los Angeles where the characters seem to get across town in record time. Specifically 24 was bad about this, especially since the show was in real time.

the gun play in general. Guys firing from stationary positions with rifles can't hit anything....heros running in a full sprint shooting one handed head shots... unlimited ammo, bottomless mags, etc

TWD is a huge offender of the unlimited ammo one - especially considering they are two freakin' years into a civil collapse.

Yeah, for an apocalypse, they sure do have a ton of ammo. At least the comic gives an explanation that they figure out how to make new ammunition eventually.

Um, when someone is sneaking up on someone, getting ready to punch them/smack them over the head/shoot them/what have you, why do they give themselves away by making so much screaming noises? So dumb. There was just one this week in the new season of Fargo.

When someone kills or knocks out a bad guy and they have a gun, they never get the gun. Also, try shooting them instead of letting them wake up later and attack you.

Criminal Minds is one of the worst, for the dark SUV to get thru cross town traffic in a blink of an eye

I hate in any show when someone is trying to get away from the bad guy/monster, and they jump in their car and first thing drop their keys. Then go bending over trying to find them in the floor, or can't manage to stick the key in the ignition. At this point I just want them to die.

Who can open the door to a modern car and not see clearly into the back seats because all of the interior lights come on? Hollywood apparently thinks that car interiors are super dark, even in broad daylight, so bad guys (or good guys hiding from bad guys) can take refuge in the back seat and not appear until some unsuspecting rube gets behind the wheel.

When the hero of the movie completely no sells a gunshot wound and some cases wounds, then ends up doing a bunch of stuff that they would have a difficult time doing when healthy.

I hate that in a big shoot out no one ever picks up one of the numerous guns their enemy drops, then a few minutes later they're out of ammo.

Yeah the injury thing gets me. I'll give Fear the Walking Dead credit that at least they consistently had the drug addict kid walking funny all the way through after getting hit by a car. Other shows would have had him running normally the next episode.

We have a cop down here like that. She's gorgeous, my wife even says she don't understand why she's a cop and not a model.

I'm sure there are some out there but on network cop shows the whole police precinct is filled with Victoria Secret Angels.

maybe they just always flip that switch to off instead of door. :)
