LSU gets killed at Wichita. South Carolina gets rolled at home. The league is really, really down.

Hey atleast Florida is drilling yet another no name team... Charleston Southern?

And Chandler Parson's is one ugly guy... he now replaces Noah. Some of these other new Florida players and right up there with him though.

I watched some of the USC game, with the exception being Downey, they're terrible. LSU, well, they'll be in the cellar in the West. Bama won, but they've been playing terrible competition down to the wire. The SEC really is down this year.

Florida plays Temple down here in South Florida next week. I'll be interested to see how that one plays out.

I agree.....UT is not a "dominant" team either, but they are the best the league has to offer. UT, Vandy and the rest are lagging behind imo.....The western division is absolutely horrendus this year....

Congrats to Greg Marshall on his 200th win. I don't see how he stays at Wichita State very long. Of course, I'm not sure why he left Winthrop for Wichita State. He's a heck of a coach that is definitely on his way up.

is it me or does Memphis look a lot like Tennessee? i watched them in parts last night against cincy, and i couldn't help but think that they looked like TN wearing blue. lots of perimiter play, better rebounding, not so good from the ft line, athletic, but not real big.

if both teams stay healthy, the TN/Mem game could be very entertaining.

That is gonna be a huge game. I'll be there if I can get some tickets.

I'm surprised Marshall wasn't scooped up before now. He made Winthrop a legitimate NCAA team year-in and year-out.

And yes, the SEC is dreadful. SEC might get 3 teams in the NCAAs.

Saw my Aggies whip up on some street ballers from Motown last night at Reed Arena. The only thing that looked like basketball from those boys was their Piston look-a-like jerseys. We allowed only 15 pts in the first half.

I know, Hat, I know, it was Detroit U, but still impressive showing from the bench players. Our fish looked good at the gaurd position.

UT and VU were, and still are the teams to beat in the SEC IMO (as much as I detest Vandy).

Florida looked pretty terrible in stretches last night...perimeter D has horrible.

Florida has a nine man rotation of one junior, three sophomores, and five freshmen. They have no inside presence. They are winning against crap teams, and nonetheless being outrebounded night in and night out.

This young team has been playing patsies but is going to either sink or swim in a hurry with games like at Ohio State this Saturday. Not like tOSU is anything to write home about this year, either.

But it will be the Gators' first game outside the State of Florida this season and there are going to be 20,000 people in the stands who hate the Gators more than a picture of Margaret Thatcher naked on a cold day.

Detroit usually isn't that bad. There are plenty of teams in D-I that are an easier match than the Titans.

Georgia now has losses on back to back nights against ETSU and Tulane. The SEC looks awful right now.

early in the game, Miss St was down to Tex A&M CC. I was thinking, here we go again...
Miss St is on top of things now (which really isn't saying much)

I feel for Georgia - they've had so many issues lately and they're coach really has no shot to turn the corner with that program. I thought he was doing a pretty good job about a few years - now everything has just gone bad.

I have been really high on Felton after what he's done with what he's inherited. Each year they've improved during his tenure, they've just been taking place of some disciplanary issues. I think he'll be fine, he's just trying to still get straightened from the mess Jim Harrick left at UGA.

Well Tennessee and Ole Miss have a chance to pick up good wins for the conference tomorrow.
