It is being rumored on a Baton Rouge radio station that fellow Alabama LB Rolando McClain is also involved in the Jimmy Johns cocaine operation.

I found a link on tigerdroppings.com

One of my best friends played football with McClain at Austin Highschool in Decatur and also goes to UA. I am waiting for him to return my phone call. He knows him very, very well. They are talking about it on Finnebaum too.

I will keep you posted.

If this is true, the Bammers can't blame Shula for this one. McClain is a Saban recruit.

When I read the headline I was praying it was Orlando...uh, Rolando. And it was!

ah the power of prayer being used for good. :ermm: Why would you hope a young man ruins his life no matter what team he plays for?

You first said it was being used for good but then criticize the intention? Since somebody got in trouble I thought it to UT's advantage that it be the LB with the most talent.

it was sarcasm. And I put praying that a young man ruined his life right up there with praying/cheering they get injured. No one in their right mind wants to gain an advantage in a game like that. And yes it is a game

I'm almost flattered you think my prayer has any bearing on what some guy already did to himself. Of course its just a game but you make it sound like I did this to him

I for one am very disappointed in these young men. And.. by the way Saban was probably paying them with cocaine.

PJ, I understand the sentiment, but one mistake does not ruin a life. He can recover from this...Im living proof. But I agree with what you're saying, no one should say that they hope a kids messes up like this.
