Another bone headed statment

With USC getting a knife in the throat, now FB Head Coach Lane Kiffen felt that it was a good idea to come out and make a statment about the future of the program. this is just another example why he is a bonehead, and shouldn't be considered a real person. Someone as stupid as he is shouldn't even be allowed to vote.

USC punished with two-year football postseason ban - ESPN Los Angeles

"I don't think it's gonna have an impact on our recruiting"
Is he even on this planet? He just lost 30 scholarships over the next three years!!!

As for Pete Carroll, he's obviously smarter than Kiffen. He left, just before the sanctions were enforced, Oh and not to mention, that Floyd left as well, just before the sanctions. Carroll said when he left to go to the Seahawks, that it was the opportunity of a life time in Seattle. Why would he leave USC, a winning CF program, he was a superstar on campus and in So. Cal., and he leaves to take over one of the worst teams in the NFL?

As a UT fan, I have always hated the Trojans, and every bad thing that can happen to them, all the better in my opinion. The fact that Kiffen is there is just icing on the cake!! :rock: Go Vols!! :rock:

Not trying to be a jerk, but at this point, it is ridiculous that people are still misspelling Kiffin's name.

Would have been much smarter to say, "We're screwed. No one should ever think about coming here. I doubt we'll win 10 games total over the next five years."

As for what he is saying, it is just simply coachspeak. He HAS to say it so that in recruits minds it doesn't play a factor when they make their decision. C'mon, you know this...

Well, I am a jerk and don't care who knows it, but the thing that amazes me is that some of you criticize others for bringing up Kiffin yet you take the time to comment on it.If you are not interested fine but the fact that you make comments suggests otherwise.

I saw a special on E60 yesterday about Pete Carroll. He was talking about he had no idea about the sanctions that were gonna happen. I just sat there and laughed. He said in was merely coincidental, haha, who is he trying to fool. I hate USC and all the stand for, I am so happy that they are in trouble. Just thought it was funny about PC saying he didnt know!

they will still for sure out recruit us this year in terms of talent. some sanctions.

Most know that the majority of what monte's kid says is garbage intended to benefit only monte's kid.

It is up to those hearing him to stop listening/believing/supporting him. He is what he is and he will never change. Those who buy what he's selling deserve the consequences, at this point.

Supposedly they can back count this years class to last years class' available scholarships. So they "supposedly" won't lose 30 because of this, but 20.

The rare times I spell his name, I intentionally misspell it. I gives a feeling of a little payback.

People don't seem to understand what "coach talk" is during media interviews/reports, and that if they want to keep their jobs, they usually have to try to downplay things with anywhere from neutral to more positive comments

I know it's coach talk. I just think it's great. I hated USC before and now I really hate USC. As for the comments about his name, who cares. The entire post was more along the lines of PC and TF leaving at the same time and the hammer falling 6 mths. later, and his reaction to the whole thing. He should have just said, "Oh yeah I knew it, it's jus... oh hold on a min.... sorry gotta go, I'm in the NFL now and untouchable!!!!" :salute:

It's odd. We have some that hate him and never stop talking about him,and some that have a man crush on him and take up for him every chance they get. Both are kinda sad.
