Well, ive met a player that was on the 85 vols team that won the sugar bowl. Ive talked to him a little because he talked my team my SR year during the 09-10 football season where he also went, and now we work at the same place.

Ive only got to talk to him briefly about his time as a Vol but thought id share.

His name is Scott Sparks. He was on the team from 84-88. That was a little before my time but maybe someone else can share more insight.

I have a similar one. When I was playing middle school football for Lenoir City (around '84) Chris Wampler, who played for UT in the late '70's-early '80's, was one of our assistant coaches.

I met Jeff Hall my freshman year of high school in 98 when he came and spoke to our class. He was a really good guy and probably my favorite kicker of all time.
