Why is the Vandy grad so mad that everyone from a national level has even called him out.

Edit: Also I love how he gets mad for people getting personal when he basically bashed Gary Parrish and his "spray tan." Guess it's ok for pot to call the kettle black since he's a Vandy grad.

Kinda funny stuff......if you want to be a real sports writer you have to understand people are gonna bash you.....need to learn how to not take things seriously and let dumb crap from dumb people just fall to the wayside

Want him to shut up and go away? Ignore him. If you talk and retweet his stuff you just add fuel to the fire.

well idiot fans that email him with threatening messages and personal attacks deserved to be horse-whipped and he is correct in calling them classless..... but the bigger issue here is that recognition is an idiotic response to these morons. using a blog website reserved FOR SPORTS to spout off about a few bad apples and dedicate 1 paragraph in the entry to broadly mentioning the game is misusing your power/position as a member of the media...... granted that its from a moron that writes for a university that has NOTHING in the way of athletics, but its abuse of power none the less

Why in the world are you even reading this guy's blog? He is a UVA beat writer. Who cares what he has to say. I give it to you vol nation; some of you really dig hard to find UT info. But a UVA beat writer's blog?

Perfect example of a minor league journalist who has no chance of being anything but that. I've never heard of the guy until now. That's the great thing about college basketball though. Polls are meaningless and clowns like this have no effect on the outcome of the season.

Who cares. It is better to be ranked lower this early in the season. Keeps the players hungry, and playing with a chip on their shoulder. I understand his lack of respect. I was at the Vandy game last year, surrounded by Vandy fans, as our team was blown out of the gym. I think it was like 50 something to 16 at halftime. It was so bad I wanted to limp out on the court with my cane, and take a few shots for them.
