For the first time we ENTER the tournament as a 5 1/2 point underdog. Certainly hope we more than cover but I have been around for all 38 of them. Probably watched 90% plus of the games and been to a few. Got to watch Pat play at UT Martin and met her several times over the years. And yes I am an old dog. Not judging where we enter. . . Just another first I am disappointed with. Fox

I would think it's just nauseating to keep saying the same thing about the state of the program. It's up in the air what Fulmer is going to do. Here is how many of us feel.

The product on the court sucks. I am not sure if they have the passion to be Lady Vols when you see the body language and downright perplexing lack of execution - the first play of the Vanderbilt game at Vanderbilt comes to mind. It is forever etched in my mind as one of the all time highlight follies. I said earlier I think this the first team that doesn't have a player that played for Coach Summitt or played with a Coach Summitt coached player.

The coaching on the bench is worse. I'm sorry for the lack of confidence but I have never seen "head coach" in Warlick. Though she reeks of going on the cheap and placating to the PC mob, there are fantastic coaches making less at smaller programs. This program has gone the way of Duke, North Carolina and others who were good for many, many years but are irrelevant on the national stage.

Dave Hart started it but Fulmer has all but helped to complete the run to irrelevance. I don't think there is a recruit anywhere that can help with Warlick on the bench because she is clueless about how to improve a program. It can only be status quo with her. The new status quo becomes whatever it descends to next under her.

She needs to go but the demoralizing thing is she might not. This team may win 1 game in the tourney if they catch lightning in a bottle but it won't be a surprise if they don't.

Not sure how Fulmer has added much to it since he's only been there long enough to barely get his chair warm. Geez. Give the guy some time.

Were great at first in the negative column these days. 11th seed is a first, less than 20 wins is a first in like forever, the first in the negative are enormous.

Wow. 15 whole months and how much of that time has he had to devote to the cash cow? When was he supposed to make that move in womens BB. Mid season. o_O Look at the timeline and tell us when he should have made a move. I think now is the time from here on that he should be held accountable for womens BB, not before.

I totally get that Coach Fulmer is going to think football first last and always. But really, what did he have to do once Pruitt was hired? Besides hang out at practice and make time for that little recruiting violation?

He found time to redo Holly's contract. I think he had time, he just didn't make the decision we wanted him to make. He'll make time again I'm sure. If its not next week, I'm with you, both Fulmer and Holly are accountable for the continued decline.

You took the words out of my mouth. And this descent actually began its incremental plunge into the current state even before Holly became head coach. Of course it has accelerated rapidly with her at the helm.

There is quite a bit more to do than just hiring a head coach. He has to be involved in assistants, contracts and many other things. He came in during basketball season and yes he did extend the contract but didn't he also reduce the buyout? Holly had a highly touted class coming in so I'm not sure anyone would have canned her after being on the job 3 months. That is just not reasonable. Now he has had one full season to evaluate the program and no one knows what he will do. I suspect status quo but we will just have to wait and see.
