To be a QB for the University of Tennessee. Be it Ainge, Clausen, Schaeffer, the great Peyton Manning. These guys lived a dream that has always been a dream in most, if not every Vol fan's heart.

Of all the bashing, promoting, and doubting we have all had. I must say I respect each and every "Kid" that has put on that Orange and White and played in a game that I (along with alot of other people) will only be able to dream of being a physical part of.

To any player or family that may tread upon this board, know that the fans appreciate and envy every part of your contribution to this team.

Whatever the outcome may be. I for one will always proudly wear my orange and say that I am a Volunteer.

I am sure everyone can agree.

Go Vols.

Agreed. I think sometimes we forget that these are 18-21 year olds. Having been a college athlete in a minor sport, I have a slight idea about the time demands on these kids, but I can't imagine what it must be like to have to go to class, practice/play 20 hours a week and then deal with the pressure of having to read and hear critiques constantly.

While at UGA Mike Bobo had to hear me harp about him being called Mike Booboo by his 'fans' and being beaten by UT. Ahhhh....those were the days.
