I just read on MSN sports where Arkansas got hit with a $5,000 fine for fans rushing the court. It happened after their game with Florida. The article mentioned it was the second SEC school to get it this year. It said that Tennessee had been fined the same amount for the same violation. Looks like the conference is serious.

Its the right rule to have but hardest to enforce. It is intended to keep over the top fans who getting on court and taking shots at players. Good luck with keeping folks off after a huge upset but the heart of the rule has good intention and security in mind.

I like the fact that Fla. had to be upclose and personal with another group of non-gator supporters.
I don't... You know Florida is by far the most hated school in the SEC. :birgits_giggle:

I think that is really dumb to have a fine for this, if its more than one offense I say yes, but its not like in football where someone could seriously be injured by a goal post falling. Although I remember last year someone tried to punch Ben Walsh when they ran on he court, but its Ben Walsh who could blame them.
