Wow, just wow

10/29/17

Gunshots disrupted the party at a Jason Aldean concert. Fans inside the BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo, Miss. were kept inside while police investigated a shooting that left one man hospitalized. The alleged gunman is 22-year-old Steven Michael Hulbert of Walls, Miss. He’s charged with aggravated assault.

That guy is gonna end up not singing in public. That’d bother me.

Witnesses said the shooting stemmed from an argument among a small group of men. Hulbert then pulled a pistol and fired four to six shots. Police said bullets hit the victim and struck multiple vehicles in the parking lot.

Nothing like Vegas.....

Clearly it’s not another Vegas, just odd that there was another shooting at his concert. If he was a rap artist it would be easier to understand.

I don’t think what happened in Vegas is easy to understand no matter what genre of music was being performed.

Mississippi rednecks getting in an argument in the parking lot of a country music concert Is pretty easy to understand.

The fact that it is the same artist in both instances is just coincidence.

No, it wouldn't. If he were a rap artist, he would probably be the one getting shot, not his fans.

Like I told someone who was worried about this, the last two major shooting incidents happened at a gay night club and a country music concert. And while I find the loss of life sad in both cases, I am not personally fearful for my safety because I would not have been caught dead (pun intended) at either of those gatherings.

I want to like the second paragraph but it just seems wrong.
