Antoine McClain

Alabama beat an overrated Arky team and their fans think they will go undefeated. Watch out for the upset. Bama is way overrated.

I'd say that if Bama gets McClain, Jones will either have to commit to them soon or go elsewhere. That may be UT, that may be elsewhere. He said that a team with a losing record would really have a tough chance to land him, so there goes UNC and Vandy. He would be down to UT and UF. UF definitely would have the edge, imo, because of how highly he talked about them after last week. I just don't know how high a priority he is to them.

It's a tough call. He doesn't have the top end speed that the "experts" want to see out of a RB. He will be a high 3 to low 4 star throughout the process. I think Clemson will make a big push for him, though. I'm not sure what he thinks of our depth chart, especially with Lindsey coming in from JUCO. We recruited Lindsey for LB, but Coffeyville only plays him at TB.

Haha, you call that a "beat down" huh? I never said Alabama was going to win. That game was a complete toss up. You used the term "beat down" and that was what I was questioning.

I did say that, what I meant was that they were going to win. My bad. I figured they would win by a touchdown atleast but I knew it would be close.

Interesting. McClain said he will wait now. His final 6 are Bama, Aubby, LSU, FSU, UGA, and UT. He was ready to announce last week after Bama beat Arky, Aubby got beat by MSU, LSU beat MTSU, FSU beat Colorado, UGA beat Western Carolina, and we got beat by UF. Now the tune has changed after Bama got beat by UGA, Aubby beat NMSU, LSU beat SC, and we beat ASU. My guess is that UGA, LSU, and possibly Aubby have gained a little ground with Bama slipping a bit. We may have moved up a tad.

Lindsey will never be a RB at UT. He will definitely be a LB.

Doubtful. Richard and McClendon can push the line around, but the coaches insist on starting Parker and Scott because of superior pass blocking.

That's really funny. Because all I heard in preseason was how we were gonna be physical and run, run, run. But now they want pass blockers?

That's what I've been tripping on. All the talk was about us being dedicated to the run and, yet, we keep our best run blockers on the bench. Typical coach speak.

There's rumor of him not being commitable to Bama at current due to their very limited number of spots left.
