I have no idea. ESPN Mock says CB Richard Marshall from Fresno State. He's only the 8th best CB in the draft though, and that's pretty lofty for a first rounder. I think Chicago will probably go with a WR, as they need more help on offense and there's lots of talent at WR in this draft, both recognized (Sinorice Moss, Santonio Holmes, Chad Jackson) and underappreicated (Mike Hass ranked 15th best WR in the draft?? Wtf?).

Didn't they sign/aren't they clsoe to signing Ricky Manning Jr.? Wouldn't that eliminate their need for a CB in the draft?

Hmm... Vernon Davis will probably be gone by that point but Marcedes Lewis and Leonard Pope could still be on the board at that point. The rest of them are decent too... Fasano from Notre Dame, Klopfenstein from Colorado, Byrd from USC, Thomas from Texas, Daniels from Wisconsin, Day from Oregon, etc.

What's wrong with the Bears draft? Danieal Manning is a very good safety, and Devin Hester can help take pressure off the offense, as he is a very, very good returner.

You don't use a second round pick on a return guy.

Yep, I forgot that Hester was even in it. So when the Bears picked him, I thought that was an excellent pick up. He'll do well there if he can stay warm.

He could also turn out to be a good DB or WR, and has a 4.3 flat forty.
If you paid any attention to his play at the U, you know better than that. The coaching staff essentially gave up on him at both positions because of his pitiful performance.

they should have never have traded down. lewis, williams and jackson were still on the board. hester doesn't have a position and they are predicting manning to play on special teams. there draft sucks. the last 2 years i've been pretty impressed, but it must have just been a fluke. angelo did a terrible job this year it will cost him down the road. the rest of the teams in the north division have improved greatly, minnesota and detroit may catch the bears this year. they had great drafts and offseason moves.

You should come on over to the Redskins smoke. There's still room for a couple of people.

no i'm a diehard bears fan, i really wated to see them get better. instead they sign a felon at CB and go backwards in the draft. they have the one of the top five worst upper managment clowns. they can't seem to do anything right.

Well, you could be in my boat. The Skins traded some spots and picked up Mcintosh and now our next pick is 153 or something.

OWB you guys did sign some pretty good players before the draft though. we signed manning and he could be going to jail, so the whole offseason is looking pretty bad.

That's true, but we still have Mark Brunell...

Well, we do have Jason Campbell, I just don't think that he's ready yet. I think he'll be a good one once he gets adjusted though.

well the bears just took a DT from oklahoma i give up. we were 29 in offense last year and our idiot GM takes two defensive guys and a KR. i would fire angelo tonight so he couldn't do anymore damage tomarrow. only thing i can figure is he's drunk or on crack, i'm not sure which.

The draft doesn't matter as much to teams that buy all of their players anyway. :D
