This show is great, I think it's funnier than the Daily Show right now. It has all the truthiness you can handle, and Colbert is the only one brave enough to stand up to the bear conspiracy.

Colbert is funny . . . to a point. Sometimes the smugness gets a little too thick.

He's ok, I watch his show from time to time. I'm still more of a daily show kind of guy. However, I did enjoy Colbert's roast of Bush at the correspondence dinner, that took some balls.

It was definitely ballsy . . . though not really all that funny in a lot of places. But what was funny was when he showed clips on his show of himself absolutely dying a couple of times.

Well, it's not like that was his target audience either. Most people were in shock. I thought it was pretty funny buy yeah, there were a couple of spots where it wasn't that funny. I thought the whole press secretary clip was pretty lame.

Bush himself upstaged Colbert at that dinner. The side by side the Pesident did with the impersonator was absolutely hilarius.

What I don't get is how a guy like Colbert gets invited to play something like that. Haven't they seen his show? They had to know that everybody in the room was going to get killed . . . That's just his act.

Ben Stein and Jay Leno were great.....................

I can remember Ozzy Osbourne being at one a couple of years back.

Have you seen the poor fools in Congress he interviews? There have been a few who even thought this was a real and legitimate interview.

I think it was the one with Brent Scrowkroft where BS ended the interviewing muttering what an idiot Ali G was

The one with Andy Rooney was pretty funny too.

My favorite parts of Da Ali G Show were the Borat (sp?) segments. Those were truly funny.

Did you see him singing his "national anthem" at the minor league ball game? Hilarious

Yeah, but I think my favorite was when he was doing Karaoke about the Jews in the honky tonk bar.

Oh man, it was pretty harsh. The Chorus of his song was "throw the Jew down the well, so my people can be free"..

All those good ole boys didn't know what to think about it, but eventually they sang along with him when asked to..
