On the contrary, it's garnered huge success! Bands like The Eagles, ACDC, and Journey have already done this and their cd sales have been fantastic!

Meh, I like the TV show though. Gene's a dork and his son is hysterical. Shannon looks like The Joker from the first Batman movie with that bad facelift.

Gene was solid until the makeup came off. thereafter, his Wilt Chamberlain schtick was known to be a fantasy.

I think that is why I enjoy the tv show so much is that Gene is a completely harmless and he is supposed to be the son of satan.

SONIC BOOM, produced by the bands Paul Stanley in Los Angeles, is the centerpiece of a three-disc set that also features a completely re-recorded greatest hits CD as well as a live DVD shot in Argentina during the bands recent, record-breaking KISS ALIVE 35 South American tour. The CD set will retail for $12, with pre-orders starting in September on Walmart.com.
