I follow the NBA to a certain extent. If the Toronto Raptors are winning, I know a lot that season. However, Toronto isn't doing well this year, so.... :bad:

I like to watch certain players whenever they're playing... but the game as a whole, naah.

Chris Bosh is on my fantasy team though, how long is he supposed to be out? Rest of the season?

Says Bosh is out indefinately. At least he got to show off in the NBA All-Star game wearing those hideous jerseys.

Well... I was a big, big fan of the Portland Trail Blazers in the late 90's and early 00's until their image went completely downhill... It's not that the team started losing, I can live through a losing team. The image was just terrible and the team fired Mike Dunleavy, IMO by far the worst move the franchise has ever made and one of the worst franchise moves in the history of the NBA. Yes, I say this knowing full well my team passed over Michael Jordan in the draft (NOT a mistake, by the way).

Since then I started following the Mavericks... I'm a DFW native so went with the original home team. But living about 10 blocks away from the Rose Garden, I would like to see the Blazers pick the pieces back up. Until then, I just can't bring myself to root for them.

suggestions for the NBA:

increase shot clock to 28 seconds
reduce amount of games to around 60
less teams in playoffs
bring back old style of playoff format.

can yall think of anymore?

Good ideas. Outlawing the dunk could be another one that would make the game a little less flashy ;)

now you're just being rediculous. Mine are serious suggestions.

Sorry, I sincerely think that if most players worked on their fundamentals instead of trying 3-point bombs and dunking that the NBA would be better off. So, I was half joking....
