we Have 1 pure QB as it seems and he didn't see the field last season. My uncles cusin reported he is the real deal and Dobbs will signal in plays to him.

LOL!!! Everyone's on a roll this morning.

Still think it a 2-horse race at QB. Worley and Ferguson. Had Ferguson not broken his leg last season, this conversation would not be taking place.

You know that one of those twins is female....

By 27 technology will be such, that her natural instinct to nag the offensive line and skill position players to death, will be replaced with steely resolve...and the Manning laser rocket arm is already there

Do we have a QB on our roster who can become the "face" of the program like a manziel, winston, or newton? Doesn't look like it so far.

Approaching this from a marketability standpoint, either Dobbs or Ferguson could do this, provided one wins the job and excels.

Dobbs has the rocket scientist thig going for him, ESPN would eat that ish for dinner if Dobbs made great strides on the field.

Ferguson, meanwhile, is a bit of an unknown quality to most and ESPN loves to crown RS freshmen as the next big thing (Mariota, Manziel, Winston, etc). If he were to win the job and pounce on a quality opponent or 3 ESPN might pop a boner for him and start marketing him as a "bad boy" because he's white and has a sleeve tattoo.

So pretty much, if either of those dudes plays at a really high level ESPN will manufacture story lines and turn them into the next Manziel of Winston.

Bruce Feldman is tweeting that Josh Dobbs is at the Elite 11 Los Angeles camp. Said he's been working w Johnny Footballs coach George Whitfield all week. Is up 20 lbs since coming to UT ready to prove he's the starter!

To be honest. I do not care what name is on the back of our QBs jersey next year. As long as that position has made leaps and strides above the play of this year.

That being said. I still think Worley is the guy.

Nobody ever marketed McCarron as a bad boy and his arms are inked up :)
