some posters on TOS are saying he won't be back. The did not clarify or provide any explanation. Has anyone heard if there is an issue? Surely he isn't entering the draft right? :hi:

Was asking a friend about this situation as well. Is it grades? Him mo couch and McCullers back next year is pretty solid dline

Sentimore or Omari Dante Phillips Omari Phillips? I hadn't heard anything like that on Sentimore. Hope Sentimore is back Phillips not so much.

Grades have be published already if they weren't coming back because of grades we would have known by now

I talked to him around a month or two back and it definitely sounded like he intends to go pro this year. Hopefully CBJ can convince him to stay

Really? Man I didn't even consider him an elite enough talent to leave early. I think he should come back.

Shouldn't be too hard to convince him as he's not going to get drafted.

Then look at every other game. Not incredible.

The dude is a monster talent, and the guy I was most excited about seeing come in. But he just played too inconsistently and without constant effort. I would love to think that a new coaching staff can goad him into being a constant performer, but it looks like the Alabama staff couldn’t and cut him loose.

Yep. Bama cut him for a reason. He showed that reason this season.

Hmmm? So I guess UT would be better if he left.
Hey, no question, the kid does not project high in the draft if at all. But, apparently some of you think it's a good idea to talk about how bad a player is if there is a threat of him leaving. No question UT will be better if he stays. He was one of many victims of the Dooley era. We saw what the kid can do when playing inspired. Perhaps this staff can get that out of him regularly.
Sentimore is a good player and both he and UT will benefit if he stays and takes personal ownership as Butch is asking of everyone.

Maybe I am just stupid, but I still want him in our team.
