Does anybody know if any recruits are going to be pleading to Tennessee any time soon? I know we are in on a lot of top guys and started phone calls this past week. I just wanted to know if anybody on here is hearing any good positive information that may lead to some of these guys committing to UT in the coming weeks.
Thanks Vol fans and keep the moral up this season, because it may be a long one. One the other hand it could be a big surprise and I hope it is I am sick of even Arkansas fans talking trash to me. So let’s stay behind this team and coach and give Our all for Tennessee

It's bad when Arkansas fans talk smack about the vols.I guess since we beat them most of the time it makes them feel better.Kind of like South Carolina.they have only beat us 4 times out of 22 or 23 meetings.

I know and now that they beat Southern Miss the way they did all ESPN is talking about is how this is their year. It is like they forget they were playing Southern Miss not Florida or Alabama

I think at this point recruits are waiting to see how we do vs. Oregon and/or Florida, what our offense & defense look like, & how many freshmen get early pt.

So more commitments in 2-3 weeks? :rock:

I believe we won't hear to much from recruiting for a little bit. I do know that we have coaches traveling tonight to watch a couple of guys. I can't recall who and where though. I will try to find some info and get back to you.

Do know that we are really recruiting heavily right now, and it will be the main emphasis this year. Everyone knows we are trying to win some games this season, but it is the recruiting that will get us back into things for the next few seasons. So the staff has a lot of emphasis on it.

South Carolina does this every year.. They always have a prime-time opening night game and beat the crap out of someone.. Then, everyone says "Oh man, South Carolina looks good. This is their year!"

However, if you watched their first couple of drives when Southern Miss was fresh and had all of their best players in.. South Carolina got dominated. I think this is how it will be against most SEC defenses for more than just the first couple of drives.

Lol, what a joke that program is to celebrate beating a Patsy. Guess the Vols will be in the national title hunt after drubbing Martin tommorrow. *shakes head in absolute DISGUST*. Bet somewhere last night Hens was celebrating the yard birds "thrilling" victory.

Seriously though, it will be interesting to see how this recruiting class shakes out. They're definitely doing work, I just hope their salesmanship matches their work ethic.
