To this point, has there been ANY information which has come out as "an official word" from the office of the AD on our coaching vacancy? Aside from "inside sources" is there any real validity to the c-r-a-p we've been reading for the last two weeks?

No new info. Hart interviewed Gundy at his home in Ok, interviewed Strong in Indy and Fisher, who we are not sure if he will leave Fla State. A fine group of losers IMO

I am so tired of hearing all the rumors and speculation. I just wish they would make a wise decision soon. The fan base and recruits deserve it.

Most quiet coaching search in the history of mankind, but I'm okay with it. I have no reason to distrust Hart, so I believe that he will make the right decision for our program. I prefer a lengthy search to a knee-jerk hire.

Besides, could he possibly do any worse than Hamilton?

I, for one, have greatly enjoyed the last 17 days of not having to hear Derek Dooley whiney voice making a bunch of excuses

Good Grief. You won't get any news from the AD until a hire is made. They are interviewing candidates now. The c-r-a-p you see is from rumors started on VN, the local media and crazy fans who know nothing but like to express their opinions.

don't believe squat that you read on here. Take anything put on here by "insiders" with a grain of salt. I've bought in to too much "insider" info on here to only be let down when the truth came out. If you're looking for credible news, i'd wait for a press conference.

ok, just like a lot of you, I come to VN each day looking for the latest information, trying to find out if Hart's getting closer to a decision or not.

Whether or not Hart has his short list of candidates, he did say in his presser that he would use this week's opportunity at the NFF to meet with potential candidates.

I for one don't want him rushing into the wrong decision. What are the old sayings "Good things come to those who wait" and "Patience is a virtue"? Please people, let's give it a few days..

I'd rather have the right choice than the wrong person just because a few fans think the sky is falling...

Roadwarrior, you said it perfectly! We know nothing, nobody knows anything. Someone else 'says" we interviewd Gundy...says who? GoVolsextra? Who are they? The Knoxville media are nothing but tools! We as VN have to believe that Hart is not another Hamilton, he has given us every reason to believe he is different. My point is, everyone take a deep breath, quit freaking out, this will get done, and SURELY we can't come up with a hire as bad as the last one turned out.

Smo, I don't know what to make of it, but it seems we have a whole new crop of negavols that have come out of the woodwork to trash Hart and whoever the new HC will be. I feel like the biggest homer on here because I fully support Hart and how he's going about this.

I think Freak is really Hart, and, he's not giving out any info so we keep blowing up this Board. Jmo
