He's been getting some Knoxville's calls lately so apprently I'm not the only one in Knoxville that likes the guy. I think he's definitely the best sports-talk guy around...Blunt, honest and funny.

If you dont listen or want to check him out he's on 1040am "The Ticket" between 12-3 Monday-Friday.

Add: It's a nationally syndicated show..He also has Fulmer on often and always has good things to say about Fulmer and UT.

Thats the one time I thought Rome got out of line with a guest.

True, but Everett was playing like a girl and Rome just wanted to point that out to him-lol

That's what makes him so good though..He says what other people think,,might not always be the politically correct thing to say but his takes are always right on target.

Woody Paige???!!! :shakehead: Sort of like the same this for me as someone else said about Rome...Paige gets on my nerves..MORE than half of the time he rambles on about nothing and he disagrees just to disagree...Sometimes he has interesting points of view and makes a topic interesting but he still is annoying to me....But..I guess thats what he gets paid for.

Kind of reminds me of all the sports talk anal...ysts we have here sometimes. A good thread in full swing here is better than any radio show.

I listen to Rome here in the Nashville market too. I like his shows for the guests and interviews he has. Some of his comments are funny and intelligent, although I think he goes off on a rant sometimes.

One of the biggest things I dislike about the show are some of the callers. Their "takes" are obviously written down and thought out and it's stupid. Most of them are just really bad flames that go nowhere.

The old OJ emails are really funny.
