Any Pantera fans out there? I suggest this Gibson Icons with Rex Brown

Rex never played Gibsons. Why now? Oh yeah, money over integrity.
Eh, even Dime was switching stuff up before his death. Pro-musicians often go with companies that give them the best deals. Eddie Van Halen almost went to Gibson once or twice.

Dime was in a conflict over royalties. This fight goes on to this day with his money grabbing beard. Rex never played Gibson. Eddie played a few Gibsons but his contract with Dennis at Kramer was far too tight to be usurped by that bastard Henry snatching him for Gibson. Even though Gibson had hired Wayne Charvel in hopes of luring some pickers. And while we’re taking about Eddie, he wasn’t as good as people give him credit for. He was wholly a pentatonic run player. No skill. No talent. Fooled the fools as it’s said.

Nah, Eddie was brilliant. Drugs and alcohol clouded his abilities later in life, but check out Big Bad Bill. He was playing jazz. He could read charts and sheet music, but lied about it. I heard some live recordings of his around 1984 where he was playing straight up fusion at times. He was the king.
