Very surprised by the FBI/IRS raid I just hope there isn't anything to out of line going on there. Highly doubt there is but the Feds are serious about something. This story is getting a lot of play all across the country. As many federal agents that descended on the headquarters you would think they had a marijuana plant growing in the basement.<sarcasm>

I don't think it has anything to do with NCAA athletics.

Thanks Sherlock......of course it doesn't except Pilot and the Haslam's may be UT's biggest donors so that makes it slightly relevant I would think. The mods can handle it from here.

ps. I do apologize for starting the thread I didn't realize there was already one going. I've been on here for years and have never seen a forum called "the pub". I still can't find it.

Don't be a smarta$$ when you're the genius starting a new thread on this when they're are already two others going.

Velo could have politely told me that couldn't he? Guess not but I'm the smart ass. Whatever

I could have, but you asked for thoughts, and my first thought was "what does this have to do with the NCAA?"

I have long felt that the Flying J, although a pre-cursor to the Wing T Formation, is superior to the Pilot Offense.

I prefer the Flying V personally. Those damn ducks knew what they were doing.

On a more serious note.

My guess is that this is the Feds way of taking a look at a private companies finance. Same thing happened with Yuengling not too long ago. Feds get angry because they aren't allowed to view a private companies books so they start a baseless investigation to do so.

Click "Off Topic Forum," then click "The Pub." I'm not being an ahole. It took me a while as well.

Anyone ever been to the worlds largest truck stop on I80 in Iowa? Unbelievable.

I thought that one was because Philly was trying to charge them taxes as if they were a business in Philly simply because they were a "product associated with the city" or similar BS.
