Any update on Squirrel?

From what they said on the broadcast, the coaches would have to force him to sit out. The man wants to play.
I love him but Brazzell and Thornton both made plays in the 2nd half that Squirrel cannot make. Our best lineup is Bru, Brazzell, and Thornton and I’d like to see Matthews getting reps before Squirrel but we all know that isn’t likely.

For his own good, maybe they should.
I said the same thing on the first drop. When he tried to catch with one hand and you could see he was keeping his other arm close to his body as he walked away. They need to protect himself from himself. A bye and another week out against Kentucky I don't know could get him healthy but I think that's better than him trying to play and aggravating it with Georgia hanging in the balance.

Is this a season ending injury?

It's hard to say but he clearly favors it even after contact and not a full on collision or worse forcibly contact to the ground. If I were the coaches I definitely would say Kentucky you definitely are sitting and reevaluate after those 2 weeks and I would be more inclined to say sit him against Mississippi State too. So a bye and 2 game weeks off heading into our biggest game of season remaining. If that week he still shows signs i would shut him down till playoffs if we make it in. If not yes done for season.

I agree. You also have to look out for the players best welfare. It's not fair to him and the team if he's not 100%. Give him time to heal. Football is a team sport. Everyone is important, but look out for everyone including squirrel.

Agree - if Squirrel can't give it a 100% effort plug matthews in with the others mentioned above.

The difference in having a QB like Hooker hitting the receiver in the hands in stride or a receiver laying out landing hard trying to make a catch= one is a touchdown and the other is a possible injury . Big swing

White is too small to be running the deep routes down the sidelines.
Slants, sweeps, curl routes, comebacks.

Rest him until he’s 100%. He’s not been good and it’s affecting the team. I like the guy, but he is having a bad year.

Not sure of exact injury, but have heard it was an AC separation, likely grade 1 but still painful and it is impeding his ability to use his affected shoulder and therefore his full compliment of arms and hands and is less effective than he would be otherwise. A WR who can't function normally at this level becomes a detriment in spite of his heart and likeability and should for the good of his team admit that to himself and step back until it is resolved. We all know that playing with any injury makes one more prone to another potentially more serious injury. With that being said I hope for nothing but the best for Squirrel and his future.

He should not have played last night. He missed (did not catch) a number of passes which hit his hands. Some of those no-catches stopped drives and could have cost us the ball game. I understand he wanted to,-lay, but sometimes and= injured -laced should not play.
