I remember reading a couple days ago that he was likely expected to play after his films were negative. But has anyone heard anything new? Was he able to practice yesterday or today?

Bruno posted in another thread that he practiced full-speed on Wednesday. Welcome news.

Great. His inside presence is crucial to our success against a team like Kansas, even if they are a weaker team than last year.

Not only is it crucial Chism is present, on the floor and healthy, but I hope they got a 3rd stringer on the roster that will get in his face 1 minute b4 they leave the locker room and says ESPN says your a wanna be weakling that can't play defense and slaps the hell outta him.

Motivation  , you'd think trying to turn pro and make millions of dollars would be enough , maybe not.

Not a chance that would happen. We don't really have any cocky players on the KU team. Taylor is a motor mouth but mostly he's just funny. Collins may come close but he is more confident than cocky. I think I would be too if I had won a championship! But, honestly, our team knows it is still young and learning so you won't hear that from us. In fact, I wouldn't mind if we got a little more frisky but it's unlikely to happen this year.
