I'm currently trying to upgrade an XP machine to Vista for some development reasons (don't ask).
Anyway, I try to run the Upgrade to Vista option and it run the check and I get the error that I must uninstall Microsoft Powershell to continue.
So I go to Add/Remove and Microsoft Powershell is nowhere to be found. I do some googling and find you have to choose "Show Updates" at the top and the Microsoft Powershell installation is found under "Windows XP - Software Updates" and is update KB926139. Well it's not there either.
I then google some more and find you can do command line removal with $NtUninstallKB926139$\spuninst\spuninst.exe.....and that didn't work either.
So has ANYONE else had this issue, trying to uninstall Windows Powershell 1.0? I can't find anyway to get rid of it. I even tried to reinstall it and it said it's already on my machine.
If anyone help please do so, this is making my blood boil.
