That looked really bad. Anyone heard how he is?

I read on ESPN.com that he is currently in the ER but no update beyond that. It absolutely looked terrible.

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard he may have even had breathing assistance while leaving the field. The Cal radio guys had gotten that report from Tedford per ESPN radio.

They definitely gave breathing assistance. Looked like he just snapped his lower back, then went stiff as a board immediately.

Defnitely looked odd the way his arm was stick straight out like that about 4 inches off the ground.

I think Cheese should blame his procreation habits on his similar hit in the Vandy game.

Is it confirmed that he'd had a concussion earlier this week?

If this is the case, I'm much more concerned than I initially was.

I hated seeing this and wish I hadn't. It was extremely scary.
His arms being out is posturing which is something that can happen when there is trauma to the brain. There are usually posturing or convulsive movements within seconds of a concussion. I am VERY thankful that they are reporting that he is okay. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family and friends.

I suspect he will be out of commission for at least a couple of weeks. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

He should thank his lucky stars Meyer isn't his coach, he would probably be required to practice come Monday.

I wonder if this will make kids think twice about hurtling into the endzone like that.

That was scary. I prayed hard for him when I saw that. Initial indications are that he'll ultimately be ok. Thank God.

That was a bad situation. Scared me when he hit ground and his arms started posturing. I pray he will be ok!

I'd be surprised if he's back before the bowl game.

I saw the replay this morning on ESPN, that was so scary. Only being a concussion is a miracle itself, I wuld have thought he might have broken his neck.
