Tickets for the Big East/SEC Invitational went on sale Monday. I have mine. Will be a HUGE challenge against Top 5 Pittsburgh up there in the Steel City.

Both the Pittsburgh and Connecticut games will be really cool trips for Vol fans. Combine that with the possibility of facing Villanova at MSG in the Pre-Season NIT and the Vols could face the best of what the Big East has to offer this year (excluding Syracuse).

Anybody making any of these trips?

No but I wish I was, I am really excited about what this team can do this year! With hard work and some (alot) of luck we can go back to elite eight maybe further.

I'll be there and at the West Virginia-Duquesne game in the same building the next night.

Hat is.

I will be at the other double header (10/8) at Freedom Hall. Should be some good games.

Villanova fan here. Would love to see us play you guys. Even though we lost Scottie Reynolds we will be better this year particularly on defense. I will try to make it up there, hope to see some vol fans there.

I love Jay Wright! I'll be in Philly Friday through Sunday for his coaching clinic and then heading over to St. Joe's to watch practice Sunday.

If you are familiar with the area is the New Deck Tavern a solid place to eat?

Very cool. Didn't realize the WVU/Duquesne game was even taking place. The Auburn/Rutgers match-up before the UT/Pitt game is quite possibly the least appealing that the two conferences have to offer.

Robert Morris is also at home the night of the UT-Pitt game. Pretty good chance I'll be seeing 4 games in slightly more than 24 hours.

I'm so jealos! That time of year is hard for me to travel due to so many family events. I have a wedding to go to in Dayton, OH that weekend. I am going to check out a Flyer game while there though. I have been in their arena for a graduation and that is one crazy layout! I am looking forward to seeing it go crazy.
